Soap Box Derby
The racing teams are given the task of constructing a race-ready soapbox.
The construction material is identical for each team - the substructure consists of a heavy-duty adult Kettcar. The body needs creativity, technical skill and ingenuity. Additional construction and decoration material can be purchased at auction or by solving team tasks. Of course, a racetrack will also be prepared and tested for dangers before the race.
After completion, the teams present their vehicles to then test their practicality in a thrilling race with several runs to the test. Team spirit is needed here!
Program Description
We meet at the venue, where we warmly welcome you and introduce you to the program. They are then divided into teams.
Each team receives a starting balance, with which it can procure the necessary material. The teams who want to beautify their vehicle and give a special touch can bid on additional material at an auction or even earn by solving team tasks (depending on the design).
Once the soapboxes are finished, all teams have the opportunity to test their vehicle and show in a race that their vehicle is the fastest.
We like to finish such an exciting day in a relaxed atmosphere with good food and drinks - we gladly take over the organization for you.
